In a match that started very easy and turned out to be complicated, Argentina managed to win back to win 2 to 1 in Uruguay at the Monumental. Argentina
quickly took the lead with goals from Messi and Aguero at 5 and 12 minutes respectively.
The first goal came after a good move for Tevez that bounced into the referee and led to Riquelme, who command a very precise central command Messi at the back of the net.
The second came after a free kick Riquelme, Cambiasso pitch and after the rebound off the crossbar, Sergio Aguero scored the second.
Argentina played well until 35 minutes into the first time.
From there, Uruguay match the claw-based game and came off 40 minutes through Diego Lugano to control the ball into the net after a distraction from Argentina who thought the ball was going.
The home side got nervous but managed to keep the advantage at halftime.
